I was kind of hesitant to start a build thread until i got most of it done but I'm sure I can greatly benefit from everyone's input.

I'm breaking down my 200 gallon miracles rimless aquarium and going down to a 120 rimless peninsula.

equipment list
-Tank: 120 gallon rimless peninsula 48"x25.5"x24"
-Drain: internal overflow, Herbie (I'll share why i didn't go bean animal later)
-Stand: Rocket Engineer designed Wood stand 53.5"x31"x36"
-Sump: Custom Glass Sump
-Lighting: 2 Radion G3 Pro units (for now)
-Circulation: (undecided) I currently own 2 rw-15 units I'll be using until I upgrade
-Skimmer: SRO3000 Int Skimmer
-Controller: Apex
-AT0: JBJ
-Dosing: 2 part
-Return pump: Sicce Syncra 5.0
-Reactor: 2 nextreef mr1 (might not even use them)

Current Problems Faced with
-Building Enclosed Stand, worried about condensation. wondering if a vent will work or I might need to install some fans.
-Waiting for the tank to get here
-Sump might be too high 34x29x20 reason for 20" will be shown later
-Concerned with lac of coverage from pro leds

Tank Design one of the 1" pipes will be a dry pipe that takes in wires.

Sump design

-the largest section is for my skimmer
-the bottom right section is for ATO
-the section on top of that is a frag section (will also be used for water changes to leave the display untouched
-the section near the top is a return section that will split into the frag section.
-the blue line indicates a cut in the glass where water will flow back into the return

i'm not sure if I should go with 2 radions or 3. I would rather save the money of course. but for an sps build what should i do? any recommendations would be appreciated. hopefully someone will join in on the thread

As stated, plan for three right from the start, even though you only need the two at first. Great build, going to be nice!

Thanks Tweaked

i was afraid of hearing that answer. it is what it is though, i might buy the third one today

unfortunately it will remain in my unfinished kitchen until the tank comes in and the 200 gallon is drained and removed from the living room.

the other problem i face is this: I purchased 2 fans to blow outside air into the stand. i'm going to cut out a hole on the side of the stand and mount them on the inside. i'm trying to figure out an attractive way to cover the fans. if anyone has any ideas i would love to hear it. the sump and dry side will be separated by a false wall, so the moisture will be blocked off from the dry components.

What are you plans for the 200 once it's emptied?

Getting rid of it. It's a nice rimless 200 from Miracles with 3 sides starfire and an external bean plumbed overflow. I was trying planning to sell for 1800 USD. With a word skinned metal stand. , so it will remain in my kitchen until it is gone.

66"x30"x24

I got ya. I didn't see where you were located before I asked, don't think I would save myself much given I have to ship to Florida haha!

New live stock in

New live stock in

I just got some new livestock in. They're hanging out in quarantine, I'll take a couple of pictures later

Derek at Miracles is building the tank. Should be here in 3 weeks. I may not do 3 radions. I'm going to see how it goes with two and upgrade later

I just got my tank from Miracles set up. I was very pleased with it!

Mine is also a peninsula. What I'm doing for ventilation is leaving the side against the wall open with about 4" of space. I have enough room to install a few exhaust fans there if I need to, but I'm hoping that without a canopy I won't need any extra ventilation for cooling.

Im more concerned with humidity. Do you have any progress, post some pics

Here's the updates, a few of my corals in my 200 gallon, under some radions and 2 new fish that just started quarantine today.

Tank will be in next week. Stand is almost done

Special thanks to my wife for all the painting.

My poor dog Chancho probably thinks he's on the vet table lol
