zebra catalina goby

I see that it prefers temp from 68-75 as it is a temperate water species. So what exactly would happen if one kept it in a 79 degree reef tank. Would it not adapt at all? Any comments/remarks are welcome. thanks.

I tried,78 degrees, they die in a month or two. Other gobies live 2 to 4+ years in my tanks.

they dont adapt to higher temps-either have a coldwater tank or skip this fish

They will simply have a much shorter lifespan, you couldn't possibly feed them enough to catch up with their metabolism. I agree, skip this fish for reefs.
