Zebra Eel ... does it mean goodby clean-up crew?

It's Dr. Goodluck Himself
I read they are safe with fish, and corals. Won't destroy rockwork. All sounds good. I hear they will not eat cleaner shrimp. Another plus.

I hear they eat crustaceans. Does this mean my cleaner snails and crabs are toast? What about cukes?

What about my squamosa clam and derasa clam?

Eel safe, or avoid?

Talk amongst yourselves.

Thanks! :mixed:

My friend has one in a reef with urchins, crabs, shrimp, clams and snails and it has not bothered any of them.
It is worth the chance in my mind since they are beautiful fish.

Overall it depends on the zebra moray eel's personality or should i say fishonality

What does "small fish" mean? What about an adult royal gramma, about 2.5", or an onyx clown about same size?

Nah theyre fine. I really don't think a zebra could catch anything that's able to swim unless they accidentally bit one while you were feeding him. They're nearly blind so chances of catching a healthy fish are almost zero.
