Anyone know much about this type of fish? My LFS has one and I thought it looked cool. I didn't purchase it because I wanted to get some more info on the fish.
Is it reef safe? what type of other fish will it fight with? or eat?
i have a flounder in my tank it mainly hangs out on the sandbed occasionally submerging itself only exposing its eyes... doesnt bother anything and the other tankmates dont care much for it either. i feed frozen mysis shrimp but it has learned to accept flake foods as well. but when feeding be sure that you have the food flowing across the surface of your sandbed and it will be able to eat the food. it rarely stays out of the sandbed usually swims up 8 inches away from the substrate to catch food then back down it goes.
