I'm not sure if it's male or female but it's quite large. I purchased it 2 1/2 years ago from a guy who'd had it for two years prior. I'm assuming its a mature adult as its 7-8 inches long. It's very healthy and molts on a regular basis. I've decided to go a different way with the tank it's currently in so I will need to relocate the shrimp. I paid $200 for him several years ago and from what I can see from online sites is they sell that size for $2-$300. I would be open to offers but would like to start asking just for what I paid...knowing that it's grown significantly in the last few years.
