Yup. Not sure how a 12" shark could hatch out of a 3" egg.

When sharks are in a egg they are pretty tightly packed. The shark is pretty much rolled up in there. Bamboo shark eggs are more of a oval shape. Maybe Zoodiver will see this thread and chime in. He hatched a zebra shark a few months ago.

Here is a video of an egg being opened. The eggs aren't that big. I will give the store a call later today to see whatever happened with the eggs.
