Pohls Extra gives a deeper coloration to your corals in a low nutrient tank.
Actually I don't think Pohls Extra has AA's in it. Zeofood7 might be the supplement your thinking of. Pohls Extra gives a deeper coloration to your corals in a low nutrient tank. The coral snow description is correct.
With all of the additives you use, how do you know the xtra is responsible for the deeper colors? Isn't that something an AA would do?
For that matter, Zeovit doesn't reveal what's in their products so how can you tell there's no AAs in it? Have you ever smelled the stuff?
In not trying to argue with you, just curious...
5ml? How often? Gotta know more about your system to say anything... I would reccomend going to the Zeo forum.. FWIW. More is not better, if anything its worse. When I've od'd extra my colors went towards brown...

the coral snow will be fine as long as it has not dried out all it is a hydrolyzed monmorrimite clay called bentonie it binds with positively charged ion in the system(Proteins) and creates a flocculant that can be skimmed out. funny thing about the zeo supplements is that a few years ago there were not any expiration dates on any thing
I also use some Zeo Supplements.
I use the Coral Snow and i relaly like it. I had a bunch of algea on the sand bed and now with biweekly dosings of Coral Snow and ZeoBak and daily dosing of Start2 the algea ont he sand has gone away! I really like it and will continue to use it! I've also noticed that my skimmate is very "creamy"
