Hi all,

I have 12 gallon aquapod and want to know what to do or add as a supplement for my zoas.

Water quality is consistent and good.
Ca 460
Salinity 1.022
Nitrate 0
Temp 77-78 degrees F
Weekly 10 % water changes

I have not added any supplements or chemicals, other than:

1) few squirts of Kent Marine PhytoPlex.

Please help. I want my zoas to be happy, live a long life, and grow in numbers.

Thank you and Cheers!

when i had zoas i never supplemented them w/ anything. Proper water, proper lighting, and time is all they need.

your salinity needs to be at 1.025-1.026. as long as you bring it up slow shouldnt have a problem. other then that, like charles said. contnue with your weekly water change nd you will get your supplements that way.

Blane Perun mentioned in his aquaculture facility that some zoanthids from Indonesian(if i remember right) waters coloured up and spread best at lower salinity levels of 1.022-1.023.

That being said i keep my tank at 1.025 :)
