zoa ID?

hello,

I recently purchased 2 frags of zoas from a guy with an add online. He told me what type they were, but I can't remember for the life of me!

the first one is purple in the middle with a yellow/green eye and a yellow/green skirt. sorry for the blurry picture...

and the second one is blue in the middle with a purple/brown skirt. i have a picture from the one time they all opened up, which isn't that good, and ever since that day they have been the only coral in my tank that isn't fully open! any ideas what could be wrong?

Cute zoas!
Make sure you dip them before you introduce in your system.
Hope there is nothing wrong with the one on the second picture...

I think if you want the people to try to help you with the cartoon names you should give them better pictures. :hmm5:

I dipped them! definitely got a few little bugs off of them too! but thank you! and yeah me too.. they're a little more open today than yesterday, but not fully like the others. and I looked at the zoa identification page, where there was a coral-pedia link, and i came up with neon eyes for the first and blue abyss for the second? not quite sure....

I'm sorry I don't know the cartoon names.
I guess that happens because I don't really have time to search and memorize all them anyways.
Many times they are confusing too, and people call different zoanthids with the same name, but I'm glad you've found out part of it.
