Zoa killing sponge?

I have a 12 polyp Sunny D colony that developed I think what is a yellow sponge. Can a sponge choke off a zoa?

I have this great red and green ZOA's that's I glued to a rock that had black sponge and they are growing together and doing well. I only had 3 heads of ZOA and now 9+ with a few baby heads coming out and the black sponge grows around and in between. I'll post pics later when am home

I have yellow sponge growing in my tank. Didn't think anything of it until some sprouted up around my zoas. Seams to be bothering them... is there anything reef safe that will devour sponge?
