I'm kinda brain dead as I've been playing with the camera pretty much all day, these are the last images for the day.

Thanks Klepto....I usually get 1 really great image out of ever 100...

This one I totally messed up, center of focus is towards the bottom, but colors are dead on...Joker Zoas

are you shooting @ 800iso or more? I would love to know...comparing the noise level with D300 and D3. Nice macro shots by the way.

thanks guys....Most of the time I shoot iso200, I've played around with 800, but I really don't like it.

Here is an image that's been driving me insane for a few days, mostly due to camera controls, I don't like to color edit too much in lightroom so this has been a real test of photoskills. I've taken about 60 shots, played with full manual and ever combination I could come up with, this was great because I learned more about the camera than I could ever learn by reading. Today I finally got the lighting and everything else correct.

gorgeous photos. Personally I like the pic of the joker's, you dont always have to have the center focus point in the middle of the pic.

nice! got a name for that purple skirt with green mouth ?

I was just wondering if you could post some of your macro shot that was shot with ISO800 or above ? I would love to see it, especially if you could post the original file somewhere that can be downloaded, perhaps.

I usually shoot with ISO200 too, D300 +105vr, I normally don't go beyond 800...just can't deal with all the noises. I read some reviews about how D700 produces very low noise at high ISO, just wanna see...that's all.

Hi,
Which of your listed lens are used to take these beautiful pics? I have a D80 and am thinking of getting the 105mm lens at some point down the road...
