Zoa or Aptasia? If zoa, what's wrong with it?

I'm a noob so before I spend too much time and effort babying what may turn out to be a frag of aptasia, I thought I'd get a 2nd opinion. They look the same but came from different places.

I chiseled out some from a mushroom rock that was in the tank already - it was a group of 3 that hadn't changed in 2 yrs - probably because they were surrounded by those mushrooms.

The other 2 came attached to a $5 frag of some type of hard coral bought a couple of months ago.

1st 2 pics are the same polyps. 3rd pic is on a different piece of skeleton and the one exhibiting weird symptoms. They'd been mounted like this for about 2 weeks already. I saw a few places online where that inside-out look was blamed on a zoa spider but I couldn't see anything like that.

poke it, if it goes "into" the rocks, it's aiptasia.

Probably a type of zoanthids.
Perhaps Protopalythoa?

Whoops. I already tried the poke test. It just closes up slowly.

Not aptasia, it is a zoa.

The top one in the first pic made me think it was a majano anemone, but I doubt it. I agree they all seem to be zoanthids.

Those are both Palythoas.

Thank you for the ID. Good to know it's not aptasia. Now why is that one polyp turned inside out?

They do weird stuff sometimes and are pretty much bulletproof, I wouldn't stress it
