So I have this great colony of blowpops. They weren't really attaching to the rubble I had them rubberbanded onto for about 2-3 weeks and I happened to get some glue for some other stuff in my tank and said okay what the heck so I glued them down. There was a tiny part of the colony that wasn't glued down- like 2-3 polyps.
So the last few days I'm looking at my tank and realize that one polyp seems to have doubled in diameter when open than the others - its size is nearly paly-like proportions.
has anyone had this happen or know what is up or why this would happen?
here's a rubberbanded shot of the colony, since the polyps were coming loose I attached them to a piece of rubble and will see if they open up for me tomomorrow and I can post pics then .. In this pic though i think its the bottom blowpop but its even larger than it is in this pic now
