zoa skirts folding way back

I have a few zoa's that have the skirts folding way back almost look like they are over extending back words, on frags that have many polyps and frags that have only a couple of polyops. Just 2 of them are doing this in different parts of the tank, and the other polyps on the same frags look perfectly normal.

no insides coming out...yet.
one of the frags that has this is growing like a weed, it's just one single polyp that is doing this. the other frag is pretty new and has only 2 polyps on it just one of them is doing it.

I had the same issue with my night mare and blue hornet. they melted away yesterday.

i don't know what causes this... sorry man... but it's just one of these mysteries...

don't like the melting thing... I'll have to keep a close eye on them.
one is on my Sunny Delight frag and the other is on a sticky punch frag..

mid tank, newest one on a frag rack, other has been on a rock ledge for a couple months.

Mine did that once... I thought they were burning from the light so I put them in a shaded area until the polyps started to look normal. It took awhile for them to recover but now they look great once again

one is new (about 2 weeks) the other has been in tank about 2-3 months

Drop them to the sand Less light. I think you will be ok

I put mine in a cave, formed by the live rock, and kept it there for about a month and it was fine after that.

IME zooz do better on the bottem and in med to light flow
