mmmm....some of what ya'll said isnt exactly what i meant...
dont get me wrong, i could care less if a person has the money, and wants to buy whatever/however of what they want.
azurel, if you found something really cool that you want, and you want to splurge, go for it!
and i'm not talking about being upset b/c you always get out bid on the auction you are looking at.
i'm talking particularly about some person(s) who are bidding on 20+ zoa auctions each day. now almost half of these they are not winning, probably b/c they are too busy on the internet bidding on other stuff and forget to check back on previous auctions they have bid on.
it almost looks like people (like mr. ugly said) who are specifically targeting ebay and zoas as the next craze, and making a mini propagation business as their primary source of income. almost like they bought one of those "use the internet get rich quick" books, on how to use ebay as their primary job kinda thing.
but its so obvious these couple of person(s) are exactly the same as the people we saw buying into the acan craze and ricordia craze of the past. they buy small/large frags, with the only intention of growing them out and fragging them to only resell, and hopefully make a profit. in most cases, these people who buy on to these methods b/c they think they will make a small fortune are kidding themselves. a majority of people will never make back the money they made by the time their frags grow out and they can sell them, b/c the zoa craze will be long gone.
anyone notice all the people are trying to trade their big acan colonies for "nice zoas". i laugh at these people who are so closed minded they need the influence of the masses to dictate what corals they want in their tank and when.
take a look at this thread, its an entertaining read:

P.S.- next time you take a look at the high bidder on a zoa auction on ebay, check out that members previous bidding history.....its quite interesting to see a ebay members bidding trends. you can almost predict who will bid on what, and when, once its up for auction.
oh, btw...what is auctionsniper for those of us who are less internet savvy/trendy??

i'm guessing its some way to ping the site to slow it down so others can't download the page cuz the server is too busy?
