zoanthid frag tank

I have lots of zoanthids and palys. They are all in my display tank.
I was thinking of setting up a frag tank, not attached to my dt, just for zoanthid frags.

Can people suggest lighting and filtration ideas?
Is there any need for a sump for this kind of tank.
Since there is no sand or fish, what do you do about cycling the tank?

Thanks for your help~

Use the water from your display tank along with new water. Also, I'd suggest t5 lighting for energy consumption. Or led's if it's within your budget.

Filtration doesn't have to be fancy since it's zoas. Keep up with water changes is my advice. Goodluck

Just any lighting you would use for a reef tank....whatever you can find for a good price whether it's vho, t5, or halide. Zoas do decent without the perfect water of a reef tank so no serious filtration is necessary, just a hob filter imo. cycle it using fish or cured live rock.
