Second post in a series... I believe these to be (or at least similar to) Reverse Gorilla Nipples.

Third in a series of posts... I have no clue whatsoever as to any name given to these. Maybe that's why I like them. Unfortunately, I didn't shut down the pump when I took these, so things are moving around and a bit blurry in places.

We may actually have a couple of different types getting fragged around here, though, as this one is more raspberry colored with grayish-blue fringe tissue. I really like the zoas to the left of the chalice, the ones with the red skirts.

jprince, you've got the best comparative lighting photos I've ever seen.
And your zoas are some beauties. Each kind is a colony, and the color is so vivid, and all so healthy looking too. Wow. :inlove:

And to me, as far as my personal lighting choices, there is simply no comparison, the less blue shots are way more intensely beautiful and vivid.
Whereas the bluer light washes all the detail and color to a blueish wash. The positives are that it does make the fluorescent pigments excited and happy. It is nice to see them both ways.

my camara has a panoramic mode so i gave it a try . six feet plus tanks are hard to photo with point and shoot camaras . this tank was just taken down last month to make room for a 265. I hope it all turns out well

Lily...I beg to differ, and I know I may take some heat for this, but the Actinic lighting only emmits some of the most wicked neon colors i have ever seen. Its like an underwater club at 2AM!
