Zoanthid & Sexy Shrimp pic

Hey, I recently got my first piece of coral I've owned. Armor of God Zoanthids... My friend got a pic of them on his camera and I just thought I'd share it.

I'm really happy, the zoa seem to be doing great! The picture was taken yesterday and today there is already a new polyp between the stalk of the large and small polyp on the picture.

I'm hoping to get some good growth out of it the next few months. Does anyone have any experience with growth of this zoa? It is in a 29g with DIY cree LED's and seems to love them so far.. Has good water flow and proper param.

Also this is the first time I'm trying to post an image using photobucket so I hope that it works! If not I'll be making edits!

Beautiful piece. Different zoas may like different flow/light but as long as it is happy it will grow. Mine usually get a few polyps a month.

Thanks guys! Believe it or not there is a whole new polyp that you can see is about to emerge between the small one and the large one in the middle. The new polyp is probably twice as big as that small one now and I'm pretty sure the entire thing has been growing for the last week.

I have a friend who should be giving me some more zoa frags this weekend! -- Can't wait!
