Zoanthids all turning the same color

Anyone else ever have a problem witn your Zoanthids turning the same color over time.

I have twin 250 MH 20Ks and two T-5 super actinics.

Bulbs are about 6 months old.

Is my spectrum too blue maybe?

What brand 20k's are they? With dual 20k's and actinics, that could be too much blue. You could change the 20k's to 14k's, or change the actinics to whites.

Don't remember what brand the 20K s are. That may be it, maybe I need to change the T 5s to a white.

You think 14Ks and white actinics or just try white actinics with my 20Ks first?

It is very blue.

It depends on if your ballast is electronic of magnetic. I like XM 14k with ATI aquablue if on a magnetic. If electronic, 10k ushio's with UVL super actinics are nice. I haven't seen them in person, but I bet phoenix 14k's with ATI aquablues would be nice, too.

cheap halide bulbs just ruin everything. i would try better bulbs maybe the 14 or 15k on the halides and stick with the actinics.
although if you are getting a really blue look you could just swap one of the t5's with a geissman midday (aprox 6500k) it is a slightly yellow bulb. but it would not only balance out the color ,you would intensify reds and just about every other color. its a really bright bulb too so just one would do and you could still keep an actinic in there .

also in strictly blue light i have noticed that reds look almost black and many of the other colors seem to disappear.
