George..I have some new Zoas also..PJCWTW Zoas(People just call them whatever they want). BTW How was the Christmas party?--I Didn't get to make it but I was thinking about all you guys.

It's an interesting collection of pages. Always useful if you have something unusual or if you have a problem to cure.

I like the links to unusual zoa pics..... the zoa splitting and the zoa being eaten....

This has got to be, by far, my favorite coral. Soft, hard, large or small...this one wins.

Seriously though, that site is a nice resource. I personally like the whole common/trade name system. It allows us to talk about coral or describe something and have everyone on the same page. The prices for some of these gets a little crazy, but that's the market for ya. For the fast growers, it usually levels out to a fair price after the hype dies back.

To me it's a lot like common names in biology. If I said I had an Aix sponsa in my back yard, 99% of people wouldn't know what the hell I meant. If I said Wood Duck instead, more would get it. It helps even more for coral since were talking about morphs of the same species, or taxonomic categorizations that are often changed, in many cases.

Besides, w/o common names, who would want my favorite coral mentioned above? I guess the Germans, but that's about it.
