Zoanthids feeding

I noticed that when my utter Chaos was growing like weed was when I feed my tank with oyster feast. Since I ran out they all started shrivel up and eventually melted away. So my question is:

Do you feed your Zoanthids? and what do you feed them with?

i only feed Kent marine microvert and zooplex to my tank 2 times a week but i dont know if that is enough or the right kind of food for them. hope someone can tell me if im doing good or harm to my precious.

Interesting! I did have oyster feast and ran out. Maybe around same time as when my utter chaos started to whither away and disappear.

I just started feeding oyster feast last Friday, thanks Tom :) Ill report back if I see any change in my few shrinking zoas. Its interesting how some shrink and some grow like crazy. And its not due to light or flow. Hmmm....

There is definitely a connection. My zoas have declined dramatically without heavy feeding. At least with my system since I've been having zeroes on the nitrates and phosphates. The acros love the very low readings and in the big tank its actually become a chore to keep the zoas and lps going. The palys seem to be doing ok which probably means there is a photosynthetic aspect with them.
