I want to stock my yellow faced maroon clowns tank with Zoanthids. What type of lighting should i run with Zoanthids? also are the toxins deadly to fish? can I harvest Zoanthids? can Zoanthids be placed next to eachother? do I have to feed them? or do they produce their own food? i think these are the best corals, and would love to cover my tank with them :)

You can run anything from Powercompact's to Metal Halide lights. The toxins are not deadly to fish. I'm not sure what you mean by harvest. If you mean take them out of the ocean you would have to check local regulations. If you mean can you remove part of the colony at some point, then yes. They can be placed next to each other but sometimes a faster growing morph will overtake and smother the weaker ones. You don't have to feed them. If you are feeding your fish they will get their nutrition naturally and through the lights. They do spread over the LR. How fast depends on tank conditions and the particular morph. Just read as much as you can on this forum and you should get all the information you need.

I bet you can get great zoanthids in New Zealand! Lucky you being so close to the Solomon Islands and Figi!
