Zoanthids SPred

So have a few colonys herea nd there of zoanthids but i have a problem...they dont spred out they overgrow each other and grw up and get long and it just looks bad. Is there anyway to make them spread on to a plug or anything?

I don't really follow, can you post a pic? If by growing long you mean them stretching then they're not getting enough light.

+1 to not getting enough light. If they are "stretching" towards the surface means they are trying to get more light. So upgrade your light or move them higher up in the tank.

This might also be why they are not spreading. They might be to focused on growing up to get light rather then spreading out.

Probably low light and low water flow.
