I just pulled one off my zoas. they have been closed up for a few days and I finally saw the little guy sitting on top of the only open polyp. My question is what do I do now? do these things move around the tank and look for other zoas that are in there? Its in my office tank so I can't dip it at the moment but will later on.

Yes, they will move around and find other zoas. I'd take the colony that you found it on out and dip it, and inspect for eggs. The eggs are small spirls of white. Those little monsters can spread fast and be destructive. I fought them for about 2 1/2 months when I first started out. I had to take all my zoas out to dip. Monitor like a hawk. Finally, I added a yellow coris wrasse. That little guy was a hunter...between the two of us, I finally got then out of my tank.

Thanks. . . i just saw another one on the front glass. I crushed it with a plastic spoon before he could get away. its a newly formed 4G tank so a Wrasse is out of the question. I'm assuming CoralRX doesn't kill the eggs? I dipped everything before I put it in.
