My zoas and plays are always look like these but other corals are fine, maybe too much lighting? I have 4x39 ATI bulbs over a 40g. These corals are about 20 inches from the bulbs. They're attached to the rocks and can't move them, any idea? thanks

Iyt could very well be rtoo long of a photperiod... Are you running the lights much more than 8 hours? If so, cut back to closer to 8. Also, be very careful with those protopalythoa, they're evil little weeds that will take over a tank if you don't keep an eye on them.

I run my blue for 12 hours and whites for 8 hours. I have other palys that are doing ok. Ill see if I can move the zoa..I know they spread fast.

Did you acclimate them to the lighting or just placed them where they currently reside?
I used to run my T5s Blue's 9-10 hrs and other colors 6-8hrs.

thoes palys look fine.. hard to tell by the pics but im guessing they are starting to irritate the zoas.. paly take over time
