zoas dying help!

The pictures alittle blurry but it looks like someone is feasting on it. Hard to tell though

It's kind of hard to see what's going on. If you can, a little better pic, maybe a macro would help. Could you describe what it is you are seeing? Is that a bare patch? is it cottony, yellow etc.

Mucho Reef

This big rock use to be fully of zoas covering almost the entire rock, something is killing it. Do you guys think it's the cowie tiger snail?

Cowries when not fed as much feed on Sponges and tunicates doubt they would feed on zoos... you probly have some type of fungus, flatworm or nudibranch problems...

I really don't know what the heck is going on. Maybe you are right, some kind of fungus, I dipped in lugol's solution and only found two bristle worm are found dead on the bottom of the bucket. I found a dozen of curl white strings of maybe nudi egg or I don't know about an inch or less long on the back of the rock. It's everywhere, I will take a picture. I really hope that the lugol's solution will retrieve my zoo, right now, a bunch of them are not opening.

Go to CLUBZOA, you might find pics of nudi eggs for identification.. I think I rather have nudi problem than fungus/zoa pox issues... the fungus/pox wipped out several plus colonies I had about $200-$300 worth of zoos
