Recently got rid of a slight redslime outbreak & hair algae problem & now I've been switching over from tap to ro... well 50 50 at this point haha.... anyway my chaeto bit the dust and admittingly i'm somewhat of a chaeto killer. I got the right the light for it and flow yadda yadda...

Anyway i'm tired of buying the stuff, twice is enough. Anyone have some trimmings and want to accept a little colony of watermellon zoo's?

In the naper area.

Mangroves or chaeto isa ok  cheers

I'm in the St. Charles area and have a few red mangrove seedlings that you can try growing. I just bought it from reefcleaners last week and got more than I wanted.

I teach in the naperville/aurora school district and could meet you. I can give you a handfull for a colony! Or if you wanted to come out to yorkville that is where me and my 3 tanks live.
Thanks,
JIM

59 & 103rd too far? I've got a sandwich bag amount you can have. I didn't see this sooner, I just cleaned out a bucket full, but I do have enough you can "jump start" with. PM if that's enough, if you want it. :)

Reefwise in Lisle is where I got mine, full of pods. You don't have to coordinate with anyone that way, you just go. I have some to spare a small clump and also in Naperville, but won't offer it because I also am fighting a flatworm problem. That being said, we need to remember each other (I'm talking to all Naper/Aurora people) when placing purchases to combine and save that shipping!

I've bought a 15 dollar ball of chateo from there before. died. so I rather get some of the stuff without the pricetag. BUMP
