Zoas fussed after transfer

Hi there - I transfered several small corals from my 29g to the new 7g about a week ago. Everything but one colony of zoas is doing well. The three other zoa mini-colonies I transfered are fine and, interestingly enough, the four polyps that are different from the rest on this plug are also fine.
The polyps are very scrunched up and sticking their mouths out.... here's a pic:

They were up relatively high in the 29G on a frag rack, so they're receiving less light now than they were - could that be the problem?

I've found zoos to be the most tempermental, fickle, and frustrating corals in the trade....

Most times I've not been able to figure out why they're happy one second and melting away the next. Some colonies thrive, then they wither up, while ones that were whithered rebound...I don't get it...

I know it doesn't help, I guess I'm just telling you to make sure all your parameters are up to snuff and then just wait and see...

Thanks - that's more or less what I was thinking. Kind of confusing when it's just one particular coral reacting. I guess I'll keep a close eye on the tank!

Yep and most will say they are the easiest coral to keep drop them in and forget about them and that’s just BS. Now the ugly ones on the other hand… yes set them and forget them and they start spreading like crazy and you can’t kill them lol. I have had all of the problems mark has described. But the one thing I found from my experience as of late is that temp plays one of the biggest roles in there health. I had one closed up for about a month and the others were not looking so well and the only thing wrong was a bad heater causing temp fluctuations when the lights went off. All the water parameters were good drove me crazy and then found the temp thing by accident one morning. Got that all squared away and after about two weeks everything was fine and I was just getting ready to call it on the one that was closed for so long when I saw a smidgen of color and now it is almost open again. Good luck.
