Zoas healing after being nipped?

So I'm still pretty new to the hobby (7 months) and I had a magnificent foxface in my 72gal that I was told was reef safe but it turned out he wasn't. So I have some AOG, tyree armageddon II, and pink poodles that have been nipped and I was wondering if they will heal and grow back the missing portion of their skirts?
I've become kind of an addict with zoa's and have over 30 kinds and the funny thing he had only nipped the ones with red in them.
