Zoa's spacing out

I have had this small frag of 20 or so polyps since the middle of July and only got 2 new polyps since then, but it seems they are spacing out from each other rather than multiplying. Using a 2 bulb 24w t5ho fixture and water movement is handled my an rw-4. I do have a 4 bulb fixture showing up on my doorstep any day now with 2 ati blue plus 1 purple plus and in the 4th spot I'm going to use a 10k that I already have in my current fixture. My candycane has gone from 2 heads to almost 4 and my gsp is growing really good as well, all were purchased at the exact same time and came from the same tank. Does anyone have any idea why?

99% of my zoas did the same thing. Kind of slid off the plug in all directions, then they exploded in growth.

That's what I'm hoping for, nothing is dying just spreading out. This is my first reef tank, I am seasoned in planted freshwater and vivaria and I had a fowler tank for a little bit before I moved so I'm new to all of this.
