I had a Kh problem that has now been fixed for a week or two, but my zoas still will not open except for a few. I also have another colony that has been mostly closed for months, but still appears to be mostly alive. I had assumed I had lost it after a tank disaster, but now I'm thinking I may be able to save some of it. Any thoughts on how to try and save these? The LFS gave me a couple cap fulls of iodine dip. Should I use this?
Also, the one frag that has a few opening up has completely changed colors. It was a gorgeous peach with green skirt but now it is completely purple. Any chance it will return to the orignal color if I can save it? It also appears to have ome kind of sponge or something growing on it which I think may e another reason it is closed. Will a dip kill this too?
