Zombie Coral II: Return of the Living Dead

When I first started up my 10G tank at work (about 6 weeks ago?), I bought a few pieces of live rock rubble from the Coral Reef -- including a couple of dead coral skeletons. I just noticed that one of these dead coral skeletons is starting to put out polyps all over the place. It is some kind of SPS. I have no clue what it is, but the skeleton looks like a cat's paw, but with smaller "paws". The polyps are entirely white, though, so I don't know if they'll live. The light in my work tank is pretty low, anyway. Do you think this thing would have a chance of recovery if I took it to my 75G tank at home? Or is this the last walk of the living dead?

It will more than likely take a good long while to color up, but as long as you have polyp extension, all is not lost...

If it's starting to put out polyps it may just be getting happy again. If it's getting happy again I would leave it for a while and see what happens. The worst thing to do to a stressed coral is to move it.
