Zoo Dip Question

I have used Mucho Reef's zoo dip for several months now. In the past, I have only dipped one colony at a time because that is all that I purchased. Today, my lfs was having a big sale, so I bought fifteen colonies. Do I need to prepare a new dip for each colony or can I use the same dip?

You can use the same dip. However, if the colonies are very dirty, and you use a white bucket, it's going to get pretty dirty with all that's going to come off. With the amount your are going to dip, I would dip 7 colonies in the first dip, then make up a second one and dip the remaining colonies. Yes, you can use the first dip for all, but if you get a lot of sand, silt, dirt, die off etc, just play it safe and make up a second batch.


Are you going to add all 15 colonies at one time?

Ten colonies are mine and five are for my wife's aquarium. Is there a problem with adding all ten at once?
