Just curious are you running a full blown zeovit system for a dedicated zoa/pally setup? Seems you always hear of them doing better in higher nutrient situations lower flow softy style setups...thanks!
No zeo is more catered to hard corals , the system is carbon dosed with vinegar so nitrates and phosphates are nil , large skimmer and decent bioload and dosed Alk and cal so the basics still apply , i have lots of flow and plenty of light as the tanks are so shallow and the system does see reg water changes , They are zoanthid only systems and i would say just about all zoanthids do very well for us but like anybody some are hit or miss but our success success rate is def high.
No irritants , so no snails, no crabs , no shrimp , perching fish , urchins etc.
Nothing to stop them from opening.
I guess like anything stability is the key along side healthy choices of livestock to start with
To take pictures we bring corals up to waters surface and shut off all blue lights and flow off as well , once all are opened I'll take some pics with the camera at waters surface or just above
Most pics are taken with my phone lol
Thanks
