zoo tank updates

Sunday at 10am sounds fine. Regarding the new bulbs what was ordered? Was it just the bulbs or did we also order new T5 Endcaps and Stand offs?

Unfortunately, the lighting upgrade order won't arrive until Monday. Bummer. However, if Vince and others still want to meet to change out the sump ball valve, work on the new kalk delivery system, discuss seahorse tank etc. we can stii be a go for Sun at 10am.

Paul, Vince: When can you guys meet after monday to do the lighting?

Any luck with the 6 80Watt lights coming in.

Yes Paul, the lights and reflectorsa arrived today. So if you want to do the new lighting before the weekend, give a shout. Otherwise, we can work on it this weekend.
I also received the drive shaft for the Vortech pump.
Vince will work on the Kalkwasser dosing system this weekend. I am hoping that after all this we will be able to keep sps. Otherwise, we may have to consider replacing some of the DIY rock with real live rock.

So like when are you guys (Vince, Paul and others) willing able to meet at the zoo to address the lighting, Vortech, kalk system, etc. My preference I suppose would be Sunday at 10 again.

Adam, what is the status of the soon to be seahorse tank?

the new tank is up and running... doors are done... hope to get the hood on this weekend. Next week I will slowly bring the tanks to the same parameters and do the changeover next weekend... the tank could possibly be available as soon as next sunday

you can do the lights with out me. this way it will get done earlyer. then i can add on the fans after words. it shouldnt be hard.

OK, I'll be at the zoo Sunday at 10am. Hopefully paul can still make that time as our mistro of all things electrical. Anyone else is welcome of course. that includes you Robinson. You can come in throught the side service entrance on Park Ave. and drive to the top of the hill and we are in the Waters Pavilion where the penguins and otters are housed.

I will NOT be able to make it on Sunday.
I can do the lights anytime next week. Just leave the parts at the zoo and let me know when a could time would be.

OK Paul, I will leave the stuff there. You can do it any time during the day. The zoo and the Waters buiding is open during the day so you don't have to call ahead. Will you need anybody to assist you?
I will still go to the zoo Sunday at 10 to conduct a water change and some miscellaneous other things if anyone wants to ,meet.
