Has anyone ever used this stuff... I was gonna get some for my scooter dragonnet, but wasnt too sure about it...

they got it at 0street right next to the little nano on the counter, its in a glass jar?

I tried it. My mandarin ignored it. The other fish (yellow tang, 6 line wrasse, pair of clowns, yellow watchman goby) weren't overjoyed, but ate it. I wouldn't buy it again.

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't "Zooplankton" made from daphnia? A freshwater crustacean. If so that would explain why SW fish would be not so interested in them.

-EDIT- Instead you should try cyclopeeze

It says "primarily cultured Daphnia spp." It says "for all fish species" But since the ingredients are "water, zooplankton, salt" I wasn't too keen on feeding it to my Amazon (soft water) fishes, either.

about 4 days. I dont know if it eats. I have frozen brine shrimp that flots and gets stuck in rock cracks and such, hopefully he gets that.

Saturday Im getting some chaetomorpha from a fellow reefer on here, put it in my tank with a strawberry basket and It will get some pods into the water.

hopefully he will like those.

if your tank is a "young" as i think it is you might want to look for a new home for the little guy. no offence, it's just these guys do better in a "mature" reef.

!~)

Yes I know that, my wife and I picked him up from a Guy from a local store, I asked about him and told him I had a young tank, didnt say anything.... Unlike good stores I know of Ostreet and Your Reef... I wont be going back.... Im trying everything I can for the little fella... If i can get him eating, then it should be all good Or if i can see him eat. But if I can't get him going Ill see if someone wants him

I have also tried the "zooplankton" with the same results.... nothing. The fish did not really care for it, and I doubt much was eating it.

how does he behave? If you see him moving around the rocks and sand sort of pecking around that is a good indicater that he is getting some nourishment, even if you cant see the little bugs he is hunting and pecking at he can.

On the same note, just because you do see this behavior doesnt mean the food source will last very long as these little guys can knock out a weak pod population fast!

See ya Saturday.

He is very active and move around the tank all the time. He is very active and looks good, No shrinking of the stomach.

Total, Thank you for your offer, I will see you saturday. thanks a bunch.

zoo plankton is for filter feeders

Zooplankton is a class that typically is above 50 or so microns. Filter feeders feed on 0 - 20 micron.
