zoo's and lighting

hello im about to get alot of zoo's i mostly kepp sps but i have a 75g tank with 2 400w mh and 4 t5's i have herd that you can have to much lighting on zoo's is that to much the mh is 8 inches off thanks for any help

They grow relatively in any lighting scheme. As long as you do the proper acclimatization procedures you should be ok...

Start them off in the lowest portion of your tank and gradually move them up or down as time passes... the zoos will look best ( opened up fully and vibrant colors ) when happiest....

They like moderate current... but not direct where it makes thier polyps close.


Just make sure you dip your zoos and quarantine prior to putting them into your main tank as they sometimes do come with some really bad meanies.. like nudi's, FW's, bad polycate's etc....

Some use Flat worm exits as well now besides Lugols solution.. when dipping in a separate bucket.
