hey,

I noticed that some of my zoos have white slime covering them and start decomposing. others look OK. I have glued them with super glue fews days ago and am pretty sure that i saw few of the dead coloni opned yesterday. today it dyed completely. all other corals including sps are doing fine. i also used some epoxy (DD) . what could be the problem ????

water apramaetrs are all check.

Hello,

Firstly a picture of the effected polyps would help greatly. The white 'slime' could be many things, fungus, sponge, spionid worm web...ect. Is it also possible you were a little messy with the superglue?

For polyps to die completely overnight, I would be inclined to think there was a predator of some sort, did you dip/inspect them before putting them in your display?

It might be simpler than that. What was your fragging method? If you cut a lot of tissue and don't get any substrate, they could die from just not being able to heal themselves.
