The new zoanthids i bought are closing up during the night? Normal?

Wooo, you said zoanthids!

And yes, I second that it's normal. However, if they're closing up at night and your lights are still on that could be an indication of your photoperiod being too long.

naw there closing up only when the actinic and daylights go out. However, some of them are like partially open. Wierd. Thanks for the input peter!

Look how fat that goby is!!........ lil sucker was eating my clam.

LMAO... You move him or the clam??? I'm waiting on these pics too!!!

I moved the clam into my other tank.... I was wondering what the heck was up and then my buddy calls and says hows that goby treating the clam i got you for your birthday? I was like OMG thats why the clam wont open.
I had no idea, i owned the clam for months grew him up from a tiny lil guy and then i put the goby in and a few days later my clam would not open.
The clam has since healed and seems very happy under the intense metal halides of the other tank.

I know we have a pic hungry crowd and the OP has not provided any for our enjoyment so i figured this might hold them over till he figures out the cam.
