0 to host in 12 minutes!!!

I stopped by the LFS today to see what was new because they were giving me 25% off my next purchase (long story :mad2: ). Well I have been looking for a Sebae for a while and they just happen to have a very nice one in! So I scooped it up and brought it home. While I was floating the bag my two Clarki's were eyeing it. I temp acclimated it and placed the base down in a hole and went to get me a cold one to celebrate. Well to my suprise when I came back in the living room 12 minutes later this is what I found! I grabbed the camera to take some pics but the batteries died after the first pic. But within 20 minutes of adding the anemone both of my clowns were laying in it. They also were both taking pieces of shrimp to it tonight. The lights just shut down and they are both buried in it. Oh and btw it is about 10" in diameter now.

Nice! You're one of the lucky ones who didn't have sleepness nights thinking of what u can do to get one of the clowns to host. I've heard of taping pictures of other clowns hosting in anenomes and other weird stuff. Be glad u're not one of those! heheh

Thanks! It feels good to have something go right for a change! I was just sitting there watching them and they are both just rolling around in that anemone with the moon lights on. Hope that it stays this way.

I'm guessing your water parameters were pretty similar to the tank it came from if you only temperature acclimated it, and it's doing well. I temperature and drip acclimated mine.

Congrats! Over 3 month and my clowns have yet to host anything.

Well 24 hours later and the love is still there! I have even seen my two Clarki's doing some kind of weird dance (head up and jerking there body) for each other. Maybe I should hang some love beads in my tank next....

Lucky. Hopefully when I let my baby clowns out if the breeder net they will host in my LTA.
