$1,000 fine for doing a water change?

Yeah skimming the article found that the first round won't start until June 2022.

The article says "œno later than June 2020" which means anytime before then.

So no more pools or gardens in CA either? Seems odd.

The article mentioned that this is just for indoor use. So they would have to install separate meters. I would then buy a pool, then fill the "pool" with RODI water using my outdoor valve. Problem solved. Either way, considering how quickly things happen, if this does happen, my guess is it will be 2032 there abouts.

Alibaba is already selling units to attach to the new smart meters that will only allow the meters to go about the 1/4 amount of the actual.

That's actually a good law and I'm all for it. Less plastic is better. They end up in the oceans. Imagine our tanks and at the top of them having zip lock bags as part of the scape

The water companies were trying to figure out how to recoup the so called losses when everyone let their lawns die. They were caught and sue'd so this is their next attempt. Since a tier program works so good for Edison they can now punish so-called abuser. I guess they figured no one notice or did the math, but this "You cannot take a shower and do laundry in a day" blew up on them. Even though our reservoirs are full that does not follow the narrative, they proceded with this latest example of how to gouge the citzen out of their money.
