$1,000 fine for doing a water change?

That's actually a good law and I'm all for it. Less plastic is better. They end up in the oceans. Imagine our tanks and at the top of them having zip lock bags as part of the scape

Turns out that almost none of that ocean plastic is ours. The vast majority of it is from Asia

Way to let me down, just when I felt good about myself for using a paper straw at Starbucks, you say it does not matter.

plastic straws and buying bags trigger me.

I need a safe space.

I plan on taking my equity, pension a and 401K to a safe space state pretty soon.

Those $10,000 fines the plan to impose in water districts that use too much will get passed right on to us in higher water bills. On top of that the state will probably give income the fines generate to programs that bring more homeless to our state.

In this state, when you buy gas, there is about a buck per gallon of highway tax. You pay sales tax on the highway tax. We literally live in a state that has no problem taxing a tax.

And you think they wouldnโ€™t fine you for taking a bath? LOLOLOLOLOL

We learn to plumb pretty well in this hobby, a Bypass at the Water Meter would probably fix any of these concerns;) I do not understand ever being out of water, the Ice Caps are melting so fast we need to start using more or we will all be swimming in it.

It took me 48 posts to get to my conclusion?!

[profanity], move out of state already

We only worry about water in times of drought?!

Don't give a crap about our conveniences affecting the Earth that we are leaving our children. Too time consuming to refill a reusable water bottle so just use excessive resources to put water in little bottles? Too mich brain power for me to remember to take a reusable bag to the store??

Alright, maybe you are not [profanity], but anyhow if you leave, can you take my complaining parents with you.

Folks, RC has rules against injecting politics and using profanity for a reason. Please abide by them.

The article mentioned that this is just for indoor use. So they would have to install separate meters. I would then buy a pool, then fill the "pool" with RODI water using my outdoor valve. Problem solved. Either way, considering how quickly things happen, if this does happen, my guess is it will be 2032 there abouts.

They would have to rip my house down jack hammer the slab and then replumb my house. It was made in 70s. No way to separate house from back yard.

Whatever the plan is it's nuts.
