Hello ,

Before I mention the tank, I first want to start off by saying thanks to all the "pros" out there who have been answering everybody's and myselfs questions and giving there advice as how to run a reef tank.
About myself, I'm 17yo and attend full-time school and look forward to getting a job as soon as I get my lincense. Note: I'm only 17 and everything I mention is a self bought system so give me some slack if you see anything I should upgrade. Also keep in mind, the whole 1 year, t5 HO lighting was my source for lighting, so as a 1 year anniversary, I treated my happy coral with a set of LEDS that the just love.

Now to my system.
Tank: 75gallon
Filtration: fx6(1 month old)
Lighting: Cheap Leds off eBay.(1 Day old)

Tank parameters:
Temp: 77.6
Calcium: 440ppm
Nitrate: 5ppm
Phosphate: 0.25ppm
Dkh(CH): 268.5

Fish:
Porcupine puffer
Niger trigger
Naso tang
Shrim, snails ext...

Coral.... To much to list. Lol if you wanna know just ask.

NO SUMP, NO PROTEIN SKIMMER, NO REACTOR.
Weakly 5-15g water changes, depending on algea growth.
Just lights, and a good filter. :) enjoy the pictures and please leave feedback.. Thanks!! :)

Very nice tank.. congrats on doing it yourself quite an accomplishment versus having it given to you. Is your top glass or acrylic and how hard is it to keep clean?

Thank you! It is glass and if you are talking about the glass top, I have to clean it about every 2-4 days but since it's an open top it's very easy to clean. Razor blade is a MUST. Without one, salt will build up overtime, causing light to not pass through as much. I like the clean look (: any salt build up is gone within a day.
