10' 300 gallon tank for sale!

I wouldn't imagine it would be that bad, just patch it up with blocks when your done. I would imagine it would work. is this the wall for the fish room, or the wall to the house? You couldn't bring it in a window.... or in the opening for the tank if it is in the fish room.

Fish room is in the finished basement, 10" poured concrete walls molded to look like brick, with lots of rebar :-( I've done some crazy stuff in the past, but I'm not trying to cut thru that.

Only slightly less crazy would be to cut a hatch thru the floor. That would have to be cut thru either slate or hardwood, over crossed 3/4" plywood, and thru at least one floor joist.

Maybe a teleporter. :-(

Road trip coming up, will ponder the problem as the pavement passes by.

I still haven't figured out how to get a tank that big into my basement, but can I verify that its 120"x24"x24"? And how many miles are you from Lafayette IN, zip 47905?

If I use the Tahoe with the flatbed car carrier trailer instead of the diesel box truck the fuel cost goes down by at least 33% If I can save some money on fuel maybe I can put that towards cutting a hatch thru the kitchen floor.

If my wife doesn't have me commited first.....

not sure yet, all I know is I came home to a fan face down in my tank and water everywhere! I got 2 new mp40 es's on the way though. I'm going to send the other into ecotech to see what's wrong and get it repaired.

HMMM.... its only a 3000 mile round trip Would you be interested in a trade for a 7' tank (24x30") closed loop and drilled for a sump. Should fit in there nicely. Should have the tank cleaned up and ready to go here in a bit by the end of august.

Yes tank is still for sale....
Sorry I have no use for a 7 foot tank, that would put me in the same boat I am in now.

I still can't get my wife to relent - all I need is a 32" by 42" hole in the middle of the kitchen floor to lower this monster into my basement fish room. I don't understand, she's always wanted a house with a secret passage or a trap door, and here's her opportunity for that trap door! And she's wanted new vinyl flooring in the kitchen for some time, I've offered to replace the whole floor to cover up the hatch. It's a win-win situation!

Females can be so stubborn. :-(
