Just got the 10 gallon up and running! , just felt like sharing a pic. Still need the controller for the lights, but I turned them on for photo visibility sake.

Thank you ^^. Finding that bridging piece was probably the hardest thing I've done so far =P

Haha nice, do you have any ideas what you want to put in the tank once its cycled? I am currently cycling my first saltwater tank and I can't stop thinking about what I am going to put in it:bounce3:

firefish and a clown are a definite. As far as corals I'm still doing a bit of research (testing the currents in areas of my tank, playing with light height and intensity) other than that i'm going with few different zoas on the left side. that's my only definite

i'm not entirely sure what my tank is doing as far as its cycle right now. it's only been 7 days and my ammonia is at 0, nitirites at 0, and my nitrates at 5. about 3 days after the LR was introduced my ammonia was up to 2ppm and now they're gone. I have about 3 hitchiking cucumbers that are still alive, some amphipods running around and a spaghetti worm doing its thing. So there's that lol

That looks like a great start. I have a 55gal, but I've been itching to get a pico and a 150-180gal. Keep the pics coming. These tanks are so addicting!

Rapidled setup, 6 cw, 6 rb, 2 violet ,1 red and 1 green. All 80 degree lenses except for the green and red ( no lens) all hooked to a coralux storm =) 2 hour ramp up/down with a 7 hour day light cycle

I actually just went to two LFS's over the weekend, tank is fully cycled, nitrates popped up to 30. I did a 25% change and brough them down to 5 and Sunday I threw in a few inhabitants.

Great setup ! I like the shelf and the whiteboard to keep track of the parameters. Reminds me of my first tank build that got me hooked on reefing :D

Good luck with your project and check out my build in the Blog forum as well
