I need help on starting a 10 gal fish tank saltwater of course.

Tell me what equipments i need to begin with a fresh start from
mechanical filter to hydrometer to kent coral supplise thing

I also have a 10 gallon. I woud say post in the nano, everyone is really helpful there. The smaller the tank the harder though, so it won't be easy with a 10 gal. Keep reading as much as you can, so that everything will go good

Easier to start with a 20 gallon if you have the room. Contrary to your believe, a 20 gallon is easier than a 10 gallon to maintain.

The basic equipements are almost identical, so $$$ cost will be the same. More choice of fish (and corals) with a larger tank too.

Start with a budget first. Tell us what you are planning to keep in there. Just fish? or corals?

I would say check out the nano forum and also www.nano-reef.com alot more nano threads there, but this is also a good place to start- really you can look at any thread about any sized tank because you will need much of the same equipment only scalled down to nano size. HTH
