Ok, so I drained the 7g, pulled the corals, clown goby, and LR out and put the water that Scott gave me in. I then swooshed the corals in his SW, and put them in a third bucket, then I swooshed the LR and scrubbed it. Then added everything back, and reset up the LR. ok, so I dumped the old water, and the extra water I used to swoosh the LR out, and checked the bottom of the bucket. in side i found this little guy. is he zoa, and fish safe?

wow he looks scary, I had some little ones that looked like that and was told to flush em. But I couldn't tell you for sure.

thanks guys. I think its a porcelain based on pics I saw on google. after putting him under my 9 LED flashlight, he has the fans, color of one I saw on google. I also wanted to thank scott for the help today, and I hope you feel better.

I think i have one in my frag tank i seen it a hr a go in the zoas i got from Scott but naw i cant see it im going to see if i can get it to come out with food and get a pic of it.

Based on your pic and the pic at wet web media, I would say it is a Cancer antennarius, The Red Rock Crab.

well I put him back in, but before I did, I took pics with my LED flashlight over the cup. He was actually greenish grey with green spots. He also had the fans by his mouth.

so far so good. still waiting for my fire and ice zoas to completely open up, but hopefully the worst is over.

If things don't work out for the two of you, my friend Hairy would love to have him over for dinner. There is nothing that will make you feel better about a bad crab doing your tank harm, than tossing it into a mantis tank. :D

ok, he's been MIA since I added him back, and everything seems to be settling back down. I need to replace most of my snails, but I will do that next week.
