10g nano single powerhead placement

I want to create as much oxygen as I can with a single HK 240 gph powerhead. I have a hob that is placed on the far left of the tank just incase that would effect powerhead placement.

If oxygen is created by surface agitation. Wouldn't the most oxygen be produced by letting it skim the surface?

I would place it on the opposite side of the hob filter in the middle (front to back) on the side wall. I would place it a couple inches from the top of the water so it doesn't suck in air and aim it up at the surface to agitate the water surface.
