112G (48x30x18) Rimless SPS Dominated System

Very nice setup! I'm currently setting up my 120 Savvy 48.28.20. They are impressive tanks! Very sharp looking stand. I decided to clad my stand with black Italy marble with white veining.
I will be following ur build. :-)

Very nice set-up, The stand is great. Do all sides open? Are they all doors or are they fixed or take off panels? Looks like a great start, will be following along.

I have been traveling a lot lately...finally got it wet.

Looks awesome like the scape..wish mine is filled already...whats your plan with the fish and corals

Very nice, I like the open aquascape. Cerameco rocks have great shapes, unfortunately they leach something, it took almost a year for mine to clear up finally,I had this ugly, brown stuff growing on it like crazy.

Three spotted cardinals or blue reef chromis
One melanurus wrasse

I currently have a total of eleven:
Two clowns

As for coral, I plan on having an assortment of acroporas - mostly milleporas

Thanks Mark. After reading the struggles of others, I decided to still go with the cerameco.

They were kept in saltwater with regular water changes for four months...hope that will help me somewhat. I also understand that there may still be a battle ahead with leaching.

Good call, I still have my cerameco, after it cleared up I am very happy with it. :)

Mark I bought my cerameco pieces not too long after you and have had zero issues with it leaching. I did however run it in a tub for 2 months with a skimmer and gfo before adding it to the DT.

It looks like a great start bruce!
I can see some great coral choices in there:)

Any changes in your routines etc?

Great tank! I too am planning a build with the same rock. From what I have read the problems were associated with the purple color they were adding to the rock? Hope it all goes well. Did you consider the Detox Blox they sell?
