120 Build Thread

Mangodude

The Clown Tang Keeper!
Ok, so this isn't exactly a build thread. I bought the tank fully set up so its just the moving, re-setting up and getting fish, rock, etc. rearranged thread.

The tank is a 120gal. 4' by 2' by 2' drilled tank. Has a mangrove/cheato refugium and a sock filter.

I can't figure out how to put the pics in the text so I'm going to have to leave them as attachments for now.

Some pics of the rock, water, tank and sump for now. Will post more later.

Can't now with the rock and sand in it. Wonder what else I will need to be done... quieter pump for sure.

Not sure how much a taller stand would help. I can hardly get my arm over it as it is. :D

Sorry for not updating, spent all day yesterday arranging rock and most of today putting in corals. I have a pygmy angel, two domino damsels and a yellow dottyback that can't go in the new tank that I'm looking to trade. Anybody know good people to trade with? Here's more pics:

Yes, I've heard he can be bad. I do not plan on keeping him. I would rather have a larger one like a Coral Beuty or Flame Angel. Anybody have either one of these? Trying to get opinions.

There all coral nippers. However you have a big tank, and plenty of rock to graze on will keep them happy. They occasionally pick at palys/zoas if there's food still in the mouth of the polyp. IME, they nip the worst at sps, especially stonys with lots of fuzzy polyps like porites.

Thanks for the advice. I will most likely have a all softie tank but I don't know yet. I am looking for a larger fish that is not too expensive. I have a bunch of room and want something that will take advantage of this. Maybe a tang... already have a maroon clown
